Q&A with Jason
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I really enjoy seeing patients get their lives back. Whether it is being more active, feeling more confident, sleeping better, or simply not being held back by reflux or weight-related health problems anymore, it is very rewarding being part of that journey.
What advice would you give someone preparing for their procedure?
It is very normal to feel nervous beforehand, but most patients tell us afterwards that it was much more straightforward than they expected. Take things one step at a time, ask questions, and lean on the support around you — our team will guide you through the process and make it as easy as possible.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work I love spending time with my family, skiing, and fly fishing. I enjoy getting outdoors, slowing things down a bit, and making the most of New Zealand’s incredible scenery.
